A 23-year-old man has been charged following investigations into the alleged armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Caboolture last night.

At 10.20pm, a 30-year-old Caboolture man arrived at a Rogers Crescent address where he was allegedly threatened by a man armed with a knife and hammer on the driveway.

A man allegedly stole a sum of cash, three pizzas, a chocolate cake and a bottle of soft drink before leaving the scene on foot.

No-one was physically injured.

A 23-year-old Caboolture man is scheduled to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court today charged with armed robbery and possessing utensils or pipes.
