Police investigating a series of armed robberies in Sydney have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

Officers from the Metropolitan Robbery Unit have established Strike Force Swanley to investigate the following robberies, which are all thought to be linked:

– 6.30pm Thursday 12 November 2015, armed robbery of a convenience store on Balmain Road, Lilyfield.
– 4.40am Saturday 14 November 2015, armed robbery of a convenience store on Bronte Road, Bondi Junction.

– 3.30pm Sunday 29 November 2015, attempted armed robbery of a convenience store on Collins Street, Annandale.

– 5pm Sunday 29 November 2015, armed robbery of a convenience store on Perry Street, Lilyfield (victim was a 10-year-old boy).

– 4.45am Sunday 6 December 2015, armed robbery of a convenience store on Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.

The man in each of these offences is described as Asian appearance, aged from 20-25. The man is described as wearing dark clothing and each time he was armed with a knife about 25-20cm long.

The man is shown to be in possession of a backpack, in which he places the money. On each occasion the man is in and out of the businesses in less than 20 seconds.

Also on each occasion the man is seen to be driving a white hatch back.
