Police are investigating after a firearm was produced in during an armed robbery in Sydney’s North West.

About 9.20pm yesterday (Thursday 4 February 2016), a man entered a service station on Solander Road, Kings Langley and threatened the attendant with a rifle.

The man was given an amount of cash before running from the scene. He was seen to run towards Banksia Circuit in Kings Langley.

Police from Quakers Hill Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene. Investigations are continuing.

The man is described as being of thin build with dark skin, and he was wearing all black clothing including a face covering and gloves.
