Police are investigating an armed robbery in Sydney’s inner-west.

About 1.40am today (Friday 5 February 2016), a man armed with a knife entered a service station on Unwins Bridge Road, Sydenham, and threatened the attendant with the weapon.

He was given an amount of cash before fleeing the scene. The attendant was uninjured.

The man is described as Caucasian appearance, 20-25 years old, with a thin build, and he was wearing a grey short-sleeve shirt, black pants, and a grey and black coloured cap.

Police are investigating whether the incident is linked to two armed robberies of service stations at Canterbury and Ashfield yesterday.
