Police are investigating following an armed robbery in Sydney’s south last night.
About 6.25pm (Saturday 6 February 2016), a man entered a pharmacy on King Georges Road, South Hurstville, and threatened staff with a firearm.
He took cash from the register and medications before running from the scene.
The store employees – a 52-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman – were uninjured.
Police were contacted about 7.25pm, and officers from St George Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
Detectives investigating the incident would like to speak with a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being 180cm tall, with a solid build. He was last seen wearing a dark blue long-sleeved shirt, long grey pants, and carrying a black sports bag.
