Police have released CCTV footage in an appeal for public assistance following an aggravated armed robbery in South Hurstville at the weekend.
Just before 6.30pm (Saturday 6 February 2016), a 19-year-old female employee was working at a pharmacy on King Georges Road, when an unknown man with his face covered and carrying a black bag, entered the store.
Police have been told the man pulled a shortened firearm from his bag and pointed it at the woman, demanding cash.
A 52-year-old male employee was also threatened by the man.
The man fled the scene a short time later, taking cash and pharmaceuticals.
Police from St George Local Area Command attended and are conducting inquiries into the incident.
Detectives have now released CCTV vision of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the investigation.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police is urged to come forward.
