8 March 2016 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Leichhardt

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the robbery of a hotel in Leichhardt early this morning.
About 1.15am (Tuesday 8 March 2016), four men entered a hotel on Marion Street wearing dark clothing and balaclavas and armed with metal poles.
They entered the hotel and threatened staff members while demanding cash.
The four men ran from the hotel with an amount of money.
No one was injured during the robbery.
A crime scene has been established at the hotel while further investigations are conducted by detectives from Leichardt Local Area Command.
