Maroondah Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following an armed robbery at a Croydon hotel last month.

A white Toyota Aurion with four men inside has pulled into the drive-thru bottle shop of a Dorset Road hotel about 5.10pm on Thursday 11 February.

Three balaclava-clad men have got out of the car and approached the two male staff members, with one of the offenders threatening staff with a firearm.

The trio have stolen the content of a cash register and some cigarettes before leaving.

It is believed there was a fourth man driving the white Toyota Aurion.

Less than 20 minutes later the same vehicle, with stolen registration plates WKL606, refuelled the vehicle at a Scoresby Road service station in Bayswater before driving off without paying.

The vehicle police are searching for has damage to the rear, right-hand corner of the bumper bar.

Detectives have released images and CCTV of the car and some men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
