South Australia Police (SAPOL) has release its latest monthly state and Local Service Area crime statistics.

State-wide, the statistics over the last 12 months to the end of February 2016 show that reported offences against the person have risen three per cent and reported offences against property have risen five per cent.

This has resulted in an overall increase in reported crime of five per cent.

Statistics, released each month to keep the community informed, are compiled in accordance with nationally accepted and approved counting rules.
