Townsville police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel in Kirwan early this morning.
Initial investigations indicate that three men entered a hotel on Kern Brothers Drive at about 3.45am.
They approached cleaning staff, armed with tools, and made verbal threats. After ransacking the premises they fled the scene with a sum of cash.
Nobody was injured during this incident.
