4 April 2016 – Update – Appeal – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Kirwan

Townsville police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate the armed robbery of a hotel in Kirwan early on April 2.
Three men entered a hotel on Kern Brothers Drive at about 3.45am.
While armed with tools, they approached cleaning staff and made verbal threats. After ransacking the premises they fled with a sum of cash.
The trio were last seen leaving the hotel in a blue Holden utility and a white Nissan or Holden dual cab utility. Nobody was injured during the incident.
