Police investigating the alleged armed robbery of a service station at Tamborine on Monday have charged two men.

A 24-year-old Beaudesert man and a 20-year-old Chuwar man were taken into custody in Beaudesert yesterday and charged with a number of offences in relation to the alleged Tamborine robbery and other matters.

The 24-year-old was charged with three counts of driving without a licence, two counts each of fraud, stealing and trespass and one count each of armed robbery, entering a premises to commit an indictable offence, receiving tainted property, possessing dangerous drugs, obstruct police and failure to appear in accordance to an undertaking.

The 20-year-old man was charged with two counts of fraud and one count each of armed robbery and stealing.

Both men are due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court this today.
