Police have charged a second man following their investigations into an armed robbery at Caloundra on May 8.

It will be alleged around 7.30pm two men entered a cinema complex on Bullock Street and threatened two employees with a firearm before demanding money.

The two female staff members complied and the pair fled the scene on foot with a large sum of cash.

No one was physically injured.

A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged on Friday, May 13 with one count of armed robbery and one count of enter premises to commit an indictable offence.

He appeared in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded in custody

A 22-year-old Aroona man had been previously charged with the same offences.
