Detectives are investigating after the armed robbery of an East Brisbane business tonight.
At about 11.30pm a man has entered the Lytton Road bottle shop and threatened a staff member with a handgun demanding money.
The staff member complied and the man left the store with a sum of cash.
He was last seen walking east on Lytton Road.
The man is described as Islander in appearance, stocky build, 175cm tall with short black hair and in his late twenties or early thirties.
