Police are appealing for public assistance after an armed robbery at a hotel at Bondi Junction today.

About 2pm (Wednesday 8 June 2016), a man armed with a weapon, not further described, entered a hotel on Ebley Street and demanded money.

He left with scene with cash.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command attended and a crime scene was established.

Police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged in his 30s and about 183cm tall. He was last seen wearing a grey and white stripped jumper, long dark pants and dark sneakers and a dark cap.
