Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Sydney’s inner city last night.
About 7pm (Thursday 9 June 2016), a man entered a business on Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst.
Police have been told he threatened the 24-year-old employee with a knife.
The employee ran away and was not injured.
The armed man took cash and left the scene.
Officers from Kings Cross Local Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.
As part of their inquiries, detectives would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance and of slim build.
He was last seen wearing jeans, a black hooded jumper, black cap with white logo and grey shoes.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
