Police are investigating an attempted robbery at Semaphore today.
Just before 1pm (8 June) a man entered a tobacco shop on Semaphore Road, threatened staff and demanded cash.
The man fled on foot empty handed and was last seen heading north on Penny Street.
No one was physically injured.
The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance and aged in his late teens to early 20’s. He was wearing a light grey hooded top, black track pants with white stripes, a blue/green t-shirt, dark sunglasses and black and white sneakers.
Patrols searched the area with the assistance of Dog Operations but could not locate the suspect.
