25 June 2106 – Update – Appeal – Armed Robbery – Jewellery Store – Woolloongabba

Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a store at Woolloongabba have released CCTV vision.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Lewis Street and Logan Road in Woolloongabba and who may have seen any suspicious activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The white 1989 Ford Laser hatchback seen in the footage was located burnt out a short time later in Lockhart Street. Police urge anyone with dash cam footage that may have been travelling in the area around 2pm to contact Crime Stoppers.

Detectives believe the men may have run along the bike path beside the motorway between Lockhart Street and Park Road are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the pair.
