Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at Acacia Ridge this morning.
At around 1.20am a man entered a service station on Beaudesert Road, produced a knife and demanded the attendant hand over money.
The male attendant refused and the man left the business empty handed.
The employee was not physically harmed during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
