29 June 2016 – Armed Robbery – Tavern – Murrumba Downs

Police are investigating and armed robbery at a tavern in Murrumba Downs yesterday.

Around 9:45am two men, one allegedly armed with a knife the other with a baton, entered a Dohles Rocks Road tavern and made demands for cash.

A male attendant complied with their demands and the men removed a sum of money from a safe before fleeing the premises in a white vehicle.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing and are appealing to anyone that might have been driving on Dohles Rocks Road yesterday between 9am and 10am and have dash camera footage to contact them.
