Police are searching for a man who stole cash from a Beenleigh petrol station during an armed robbery last night.
Around 10.15pm the man entered the Logan River Road service station and demanded cash from a 23-year-old female store employee.
The man, who intimated that he was armed and lifted his jacket revealing a brown handle of an unknown item, fled the scene on foot.
He is described as Caucasian, aged in his late 20’s with a beard. He was wearing a blue hooded jumper
No one was injured and police investigations are continuing.
