1 July 2016 – Armed Robbery – Supermarket – Pooraka

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Pooraka, where a shop assistant was threatened with a knife before the suspect stole cash and fled the scene.
At about 7pm on Friday 1 July, a man armed with a knife entered the Foodworx store on Desmond Avenue and demanded cash.
He ran off with an amount of money and cigarettes, and was last seen heading towards Priscilla Road.
No one was physically injured.
The suspect is described as about 175cm tall, slim build, and was wearing a dark-coloured jumper, tracksuit pants and white shoes.
