3 July 2016 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Upper Mount Gravatt

Police are investigating after a bottle shop was robbed by a man armed with a firearm at Upper Mount Gravatt this evening.
Around 6.20pm a man entered the Newnham Road business, produced a hand gun and demanded money and cigarettes from the male attendant.
After obtaining cash and some alcohol the man fled the store and was last seen running into parkland.
The male attendant was not physically harmed.
The firearm was not discharged during the robbery.
The man is described as Caucasian, 180-185cm tall and of solid build.
