Police are investigating an armed robbery at a service station in Churchill last night.

Around 9.15pm a man wearing a hooded jumper pulled down to cover his face, armed with a knife entered a Warwick Road service station and threatened a female attendant before making demands for cash.

The female attendant complied with the demands and the man removed a sum of money and a large quantity of cigarette packets which he placed into a large carry bag.

The man then fled the service station on foot.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing and police are appealing to anyone that might have been driving on Warwick Road around the time of the incident and have dash camera footage to contact them.
