Police are investigating the armed robbery of a grocery store at Browns Plains last night.

Around 7pm two men entered the Grand Plaza Drive business with their faces covered.

The men, one armed with a knife, threatened the 39-year-old female employee and demanded money before cutting the woman’s hand with the knife.

The men then removed money from the cash register before leaving the store on foot.

The female attendant sought treatment for her cut from a nearby medical centre.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
