5 August 2016 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – West End

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a West End bottle shop last night (August 4).

Around 9.10pm a man armed with a small axe entered the Hardgrave Road business and threatened a 21-year-old male employee before fleeing on foot with a sum of cash.

The man is described as Caucasian, with a tanned / olive complexion, approximately 25 to 30 years, around 170 to 175cms tall and was wearing a black scarf across his face, shorts and t-shirt.

No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
