Police are investigating the armed robbery of a taxi driver at Eagleby this morning.
Around 5.05am the 33-year-old male taxi driver transported a man to an address at Fryar Road where he was robbed.
Upon arrival at the location, the man verbally threatened the driver, demanding money and property.
The man fled on foot with a sum of cash and property.
The man is described as tanned complexion with an Australian accent, approximately 142cms tall of a thin build, wearing a dark blue jumper, blue cap, dark pants, white runners and walks with a limp.
The driver was unharmed.
Police investigations are continuing.
