Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Mount Gravatt service station last night.

Around 10.36pm two youths, armed with a broken glass bottle and a knife, entered the Logan Road business and approached the counter.

The pair then threatened the 32-year-old male attendant before demanding cash and cigarettes.

One of the youths held a glass sliding door open while the other grabbed a quantity of cash and cigarettes before fleeing on foot.

The first armed youth is described as being aged between 15 and 16, dark complexion wearing a green tshirt, orange jacket and grey shorts. The second armed youth is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 15 and 16, wearing a check shirt, white hoodie, dark shorts, blue cap and black face mask.

No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
