Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Loganholme earlier this morning.

Around 6.30am a man and a woman, both armed with knives, entered the Bryants Road premises.

The woman made demands for cash and cigarettes as well as personal property from the 21-year-old female console operator which she handed over.

The man and the woman then fled the store getting into a white Holden Cruze which was parked near the premises with a male driver inside.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as 175cm to 180 cm tall, proportionate build and wearing dark coloured shorts and a blue hoodie.

The woman is described as 165cm tall, proportionate build wearing dark clothing, gloves, a gorilla style balaclava and carrying a knapsack.
