Police have arrested two people following investigation into a robbery at Salisbury Downs on Sunday night.

About 11.15pm on Sunday 21 August police will allege a person armed with a knife entered the service station on Salisbury Highway and threatened staff.

It will be alleged he stole cash and cigarettes before running off with a second person.

Elizabeth CIB detectives have since arrested an 18-year-old man from Paralowie and charged him with aggravated robbery. He was refused bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.

Police also arrested a 17-year-old teenage boy from Parafield Gardens. He was also charged with aggravated robbery and his bail was refused. He was due to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court today.
