A man will face court tomorrow charged over an alleged robbery at Greenacres on Friday night.
At 10.40pm on Friday 9 September, a man wearing a balaclava and allegedly carrying a knife entered the pizza shop on Muller Road and threatened staff.
Staff fled the store just before the suspect ran off empty handed.
There were no reported injuries.
Patrols cordoned the area, and with the assistance of PD Ruger, tracked the suspect to a nearby home where he was arrested.
Police searched the home and located clothing and the knife used during the robbery.
A 20-year-old man from Somerton Park was charged with aggravated robbery. He was refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
