Investigators from the Metropolitan Robbery Unit’s Strike Force Crommelin, have released CCTV footage and are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at a grocery store in Wiley Park last month.

About 7.30pm on Thursday 4 August 2016, six males, four with their faces covered – one armed with a knife – entered a grocery store on Denham Road, Wiley Park.

Three of the men allegedly assaulted two staff members, before the group stole cash from the register, cigarettes, and other items, before they fled.

A crime scene was established and investigations commenced.

Officers from the Metropolitan Robbery Unit established Strike Force Crommelin to investigate the robbery.

As inquiries continue, Strike Force detectives have released CCTV footage of the incident are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The males depicted in the footage are described only as being in their late teens and wearing dark clothing.

One of the males is further described as wearing a distinctive blue coloured hoodie with a large ‘adidas’ motif, and carrying a knife.
