Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery at licensed premises in Orange yesterday.

Police have been told just after 8pm (Tuesday 20September), two men wearing dark clothing and with their faces covered, entered the premises on Warrendine Street, near the intersection of Sale Street and allegedly threatened staff with a firearm.

It is alleged one of the men demanded an employee open the till and hand over cash.

Both men then fled in a stolen vehicle which was later located at Elephant Park.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Elephant Park about 8pm yesterday (Tuesday 20 September 2016).
