Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 15-year-old boy today following an alleged armed robbery at a milk bar in Preston yesterday morning.
The Preston boy was arrested today and has been charged with armed robbery, assault and weapons-related offences.
He will front a children’s court at a later date.
The charges relate to an alleged armed robbery and assault of a staff member at a Victoria Street store just after 11am.
