26 September 2016 – Armed Robbery – Licensed Premises – Cornubia

Police are investigating after a licensed premises where robbed at Cornubia this afternoon.

Initial inquires indicate two men attended a licensed premises at Gleneagles Avenue this afternoon at 2.25pm. One of the men produced a firearm and demand money.

Staff complied and the two men left with a sum of money and were last seen running through a service station on Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road.

The first man is described as Caucasian in appearance slim build, approximately 170cm tall wearing a navy hoodie.

The second man is of similar description also wearing a navy hoodie and carrying a backpack.
