Detectives have charged a man following an alleged armed robbery in Bundall yesterday afternoon.
It will be alleged at around 1:30pm a man stole a phone from a 29-year-old man in the carpark of a licensed premises on Bundall Road.
The 29-year-old man gave chase and confronted the other man, who then allegedly threatened him before fleeing the scene on foot.
Police attended and with the assistance of the dog squad located a man at an address in Mercedes Place in Bundall.
A 24-year-old Molendinar man has been charged with armed robbery and possessing utensils or pipes.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today.
