July 8, 2011 – Shoplifting – Jewellery Store – Surfers Paradise

Police are investigating a shop stealing offence at a jewellery store in a Cavil Avenue, Surfers Paradise arcade this morning.
At around 9.45am a man entered the shop and asked to see some items. When the shop assistant turned away to get some more items, the man picked up the jewellery on the counter and ran out of the store, through an access door to the loading docks.
The man is described as being around 176cm tall, Caucasian with dark brown hair and a distinctive thick beard.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen this man.
