Police investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Jindalee last night have released images of a man who may be able to assist police with their investigations.

Just after midnight a man has entered a bowls club on Sinnamon Road and confronted a staff member making demands for money.

The man then produced a firearm and threatened the staff member who has then complied with the man’s demands and handed over a sum of cash. He then left the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

The man is described as approximately 170cms tall, with a stocky build and was wearing a grey hoodie, black balaclava, black track pants and black shoes.

The 60-year-old male staff member was not physically injured.
