A man and a woman have been charged with aggravated robbery after a police investigation into an incident at a Woodville North service station early on Monday morning.

Police arrested the man – a 36-year-old from Marion – yesterday and the woman – a 28-year-old from Taperoo – today (29 November).

At 12.20am on Monday 28 November, police were called to a service station on Hanson Road after reports a man and woman had entered the store and allegedly threatened staff and demanded cash.

The staff member was not physically injured during the incident.

Detectives from Western Adelaide CIB investigated the matter and made both arrests.

Both accused were expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
