Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at North Lakes last night.
Preliminary information suggests around 9.55pm, a man with his face covered, has entered the business on College Road armed with a firearm and demanded money from the male employee.
The man has then taken an unknown quantity of cash before fleeing the store on foot.
No one was injured.
Police including the dog squad patrolled the area but were unable to locate the man.
