Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Tarragindi this afternoon.
Just after 12.30pm, a man entered a fruit shop on Toohey Road, armed with a firearm and demanded money.
The man was then handed a sum of money from the shop attendant, before leaving the shop and being driven from the scene in a silver sedan.
The vehicle was last seen driving east on Marshall Road towards the Pacific Motorway.
The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 20-years-old with blonde hair.
There is no description available of the driver of the car.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
