Police have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries following an armed robbery in Campbelltown earlier this year.

About 4.50pm on Saturday 25 June 2016, a man armed with a knife entered a beauty salon on Queen Street and demanded money from employees and customers.

He fled the scene a short time later taking a handbag. The man was last seen running from Queen Street to Campbelltown Arcade. No one was injured during the incident.

Officers from the Metropolitan Robbery Unit have been conducting investigations into the incident and as they continue their inquiries, they would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of slim build and tall. The man was last seen wearing a white hooded jumper, long pants and was carrying a high-visibility jumper.
