Police investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Chermside last night (December 22) have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigations.
Preliminary inquiries indicate a man entered the business on Gympie Road around 6.40pm and followed the 24-year-old male store attendant behind the counter.
The man then demanded money and showed he was armed with a hammer.
He grabbed a sum of cash from the cash register and fled the scene on foot.
The man had short dark hair and was wearing work boots, dark shorts and an orange and blue hi-vis shirt.
