Police have charged a man with armed robbery after an incident at Colo Vale early last year.
Police will allege about 8pm on Friday 22 April 2016, a man entered a shop in Elm Street, produced a knife and demanded money from the shop assistant.
The man was able to flee from the premises with a quantity of cash.
Police from The Hume Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation seizing several items of clothing nearby which were forensically examined.
Today (Tuesday 10 January 2017) investigators arrested a 22-year-old man at a home in Finlay assisted by police from Deniliquin Local Area Command.
At Finlay Police Station he was later charged with armed robbery and refused bail.
The man appeared at court today but remains in custody.
He will reappear at Deniliquin Local Court on Tuesday 7 March 2017.
