Police are investigating an armed robbery at a restaurant in Cleveland this morning.
Preliminary information suggests around 9.45am an employee of the business located on Shore Street West was confronted by a man who walked through an open roller door and demanded money.
The man then lifted his shirt to show a firearm tucked into his jeans.
The employee led the man through to a room of the premises and provided him with a sum of cash.
The man then fled the scene. No one was physically injured.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30s, around 160 to 165cm tall with a solid build, short thinning black hair with a black trimmed beard and moustache.
The man was wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt with a black button up shirt over the top and was holding a black cap in his hand.
