Holden Hill Police are renewing their appeal for information about a taxi driver robbery at Modbury last month and have released CCTV from inside the taxi.

Just before 11pm on Sunday 18 December, police were called to a supermarket car park on Montague Road after reports a taxi driver had been robbed by three passengers.

When the two men and a woman got out of the taxi one of the men produced a knife and verbally threatened the driver and demanded money.

The three ran off after stealing an amount of cash.

Police searched the area with the assistance of a police dog but were unable to locate anyone.

The taxi driver was not physically injured during the incident.

Police are still searching for the three suspects, all described as Caucasian and aged in their early 20s.
