A man has been charged with four alleged armed robberies following investigations by Mid North Coast Detectives.
Police were called to two armed robberies on the Sunday 4 and Monday 5 September 2016 in the Port Macquarie area. During these incidents a knife was allegedly produced and cash and property was stolen.
In a separate incident, just after 9.50pm (Sunday 6 November 2016), police were called to a service station on High Street, Wauchope, following reports of an armed robbery.
It is alleged a man threatened an employee with a firearm and took cash and cigarettes from the location before he left on foot.
A fourth robbery has then occurred about 8.20pm (Monday 14 November 2016), when an 18-year-old fast food delivery driver was allegedly robbed in Wauchope, by a man armed with a metal pole.
Officers from Mid North Coast Detectives investigated the four incidents and believed them to be related.
As part of ongoing investigations, a 23-year-old man was charged with four counts of armed robbery.
He is currently bail refused on other matters and is due to appear in court again on Thursday 23 February 2017.
