Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Moree overnight.
Police have been told about 9.20pm (Monday 23 January 2017), a 33-year-old woman attended a service station on Frome Street when she was confronted by an unknown man and forcibly removed from her car.
The man has threatened the woman with a claw hammer and taken the keys to her Ford Ranger before driving off south along Frome Street.
Shortly after, about 9.30pm (Monday 23 January 2017), a 22-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman were working at a liquor store on Frome Street, Moree, when an unknown man entered the store armed with a claw hammer.
The man has allegedly threatened the 22-year-old man and taken cash from the location before leaving in the Ford Ranger. He was last seen heading north on Wesley Lane, Moree.
About 9.50pm, the stolen car was located, destroyed by fire, on Broadwater Creek Road.
Officers from Barwon Local Area Command are investigating the incidents and believe them to be related.
Police would like to speak to a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
He is described as being Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance and 185-190cm tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper and grey track pants.
