Eastern Region Crime Squad detectives have arrested a male in relation to multiple crimes in across Melbourne suburbs spanning the last two months.

The incidents include:

– Attempted armed robbery in Ashwood on 12 December 2016.

-Theft of a motor vehicle from Melbourne on 12 December 2016.

– Two armed robberies at service stations in Burwood and Mount Waverley, 12 December, 2016.

– Armed robbery at fast food outlets in Mount Waverley, Laverton North and Elsternwick on 12 December.

– A robbery on a liquor outlet in Hampton Park on 22 December.

– Theft of a motor vehicle from a home in Sandhurst on 5 February.

– Attempted armed robbery at a service station in Kew East on 7 February.

– Two armed robberies at service stations in Mount Waverley and Chadstone on 7 February.

– Two armed robberies at fast food outlets in Altona Meadows and Chelsea Heights on 8 February.

The 18-year-old Hampton Park man will be presented before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 9 February.
