9 February 2017 – Armed Robbery – Petrol Station – Blair Athol

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Blair Athol early this morning and have released CCTV of the offender.

Just after 3.30am, Thursday 9 February, a man entered the On The Run petrol station on Main North Road, Blair Athol and threatened staff with rocks.  He fled with cash, cigarettes and mobile phones.

Thankfully, no-one was physically injured.

The suspect is described as a young man of Aboriginal appearance, aged in his early to mid 20s, 185 cm tall, wearing a blue hooded jumper and jeans.

Patrols searched the area but were unable to located anyone.
